Dyson

Hey, is it weird that I am going to do a post on my vacuum?  I just thought I'd let everyone know that I have seen them on sale in several adds.  One being Target and the next being Sears.  or you can look online at Banks Vacuum SuperStore, they ALWAYS have the lowest prices.  You may seem a little scared because of the website, etc, but I promise their customer service is wonderful and you get the vacuum you wanted for a WAY lower cost!

I am not being paid or anything by Dyson, but I should be!  I love my vacuum!

Frustrated today...

I was/am very frustrated today!  I felt so good last week and now I feel like I am right back where I started.  I did mention awhile ago on the blog that I was going back to the doctor to admit that maybe she was correct with the ADD diagnoses she made.  Well, I went back and she put me on a new medication which this time is a stimulant.  Last week it worked very well because I ran VBS all week and usually when I know a lot is on my shoulders I stress out, but last week I just took it & did it, I didn't think about it or stew and get myself all worked up, I just did it.  However, this week I feel like I am aimlessly going from one thing to the next, I think that I have too much time on my hands and I am not managing it well.

Well, I had to go back to my doc today to evaluate how the medication is coming along and we talked about setting up a schedule.  I am for a schedule, I love schedules, but with staying at home all day I rarely follow them for long, maybe a week most, but since school is out I need to get it together & start a schedule for myself & kids, it will make everyone happier!!

When I get my schedule done I'll post it here!  I'll leave you with a pic my aunt took for our 6th anniversary on Saturday.  Happy Tuesday!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day out there for all of the fathers!

Yesterday, was Aaron and my 6th anniversary!  We've been married six years!  We've been together for 9 years, man, that sounds like along time!  The first 3 years was very hard, to be honest, however, after Aaron accepted Jesus into his life to be his Savior, marriage has been smooth sailing (well, in comparison to the previous 3 years!)

We had a rough start too.  I was not actively seeking God's will for my life when I first met Aaron, however, I believe God placed me in Aaron's life for a reason, but since I was not living my life for God then, we lived sinfully, however, as God often does He makes the VERY best out of our falls from grace & that was Jaylin.  Jaylin was born before Aaron and I were married and I still struggle with what we will tell her, I am just so nervous because I don't want her to think she was a mistake, but I know that if I pray about it God will be there at the time she asks.

Anyway, we were married when Jaylin was about 8 months old.  Aaron never proposed to me, he just knew I wanted to get married and I didn't feel right living the way we were living, I didn't feel right raising a child without being married, so we got married!  Aaron got our rings from his brother, which were rings that his gf got from a break-up of her brother (complicated!  I know), but anyway, Aaron came home one day and said..."here's your ring" I was like um, ok....We had a regular wedding with the white dress & family, but I always told him that one day he was actually going to have to propose to me.

Well the proposal came last night on our 6th wedding anniversary!  We were dropping the girls off at my parents house so we could go out to dinner and he came up to me and kissed me & then said, "There is something we have to do before we go." I was like "What?" Then he gets down on his knee and says "Will you marry me?" AND he pulls out a box...with a new ring!

So my whole family starts crying and he starts getting choked up, and of course I said yes!  ha!  The funny thing is he didn't tell anyone he was going to do it except for my dad and then he said he was super nervous when he was walking in!  LOL!  He was nervous, but we are already married!  Too funny!

I'll snap a pic of my beautiful new ring later & post!

Beach Blast-Celebrating God's Faithfulness

Oh man, what a week!!  What a good week, but I'm exhausted!  I was the VBS director at my church's VBS for the 2nd year in a row.  This year I wanted to accomplish big things & God saw me every step of the way!!  We are a small church of under 100 people and last year we did a very low key VBS and we had 10-14 kids attend and as my first year I wanted to get a feel for it, so this year I decided to go all out, we needed a theme and more kids!  This year we had a total of 32 kids come to VBS and I am just thrilled!!!  We more than doubled our numbers from last year!  All of my volunteers and helpers are still pumped up from the success!  We will be doing a slideshow for the parents next Sunday so I don't want to spoil my posting photos here, but here are a few....

Welcome Home!

Jaylin made this beautiful flower arrangement for Aaron's homecoming from Canada.  We are so glad he is here.

Also, I wanted to note this because I don't want to forget it...

Aubrey the other day had a blister on her foot & I was trying to look at it & she said, "No don't touch it!  I'm letting Jesus heal it!!"  So cute!  But, then today she said another thing, she said "Sometimes, I'm bad and then you get mad, but I'm bad because Jesus likes when I'm bad"  I was like um, I don't think that is exactly right, ha!  I said Jesus wants you to obey your parents and then Jaylin says "Right, Obey your Parents in the LORD!"  aww, makes my heart smile, even if they don't listen to it all the time ;)

Long time...

I haven't posted in over a week!!  I've been busy & my lack of focus is really getting on my nerves!  Aaron is in Canada until next Saturday.  I can't wait until he gets home, it is always a little relaxing at first when he leaves because I don't have to have dinner ready early and an "official" meal prepared since he isn't here.  He works so early in the morning that I have to have supper ready around 5!  So when the girls have activities in the evening that means I have to do the cooking & prep work in the afternoon, which just makes the day go so fast!

Then, I really blew my goal at Walgreens last week!  I took my mom and I thought I was going to show her the ropes, but did you know I spent WAY more money!  Like $50, I am ashamed of myself!  Anyway, I did better this week!!  I spent $14.12 out of pocket and then I got $12 in RR returned, so technically I spent $2.12 for all of the above.  I miscalculated today so it actually was more than I planned on spending, but I've been messing a lot of stuff up this week so it doesn't surprise me!

I am going back to the doctor on Tuesday and I am going to tell her that she isn't crazy about her suspicion of Adult ADD in me :(  I pretty much told her she was crazy last year when she gave me trial meds and then I quit taking them after 2 weeks, but in over a year I have not felt as focused & together as I did for those 2 weeks, 1 year ago!!  Yes, I'm submitting!!  I've lost too many things and have been unable to pull thoughts out of my head for too long and I want my life back!  I'll let you know what she says ;)  Probably...told ya so, ha!

Happy Memorial Day!

Thank you to all those men & women that have served our country!  There are so many people out there standing up for our freedoms!  They are fighting so we can do this in our backyard...

Smores!  They are awesome!  We had a good family night on Saturday night.  We had a fire in our fire pit...see husband...

Crazy, I know!!  I think fire is a man thing!  It took us forever to get fire going to roast our marshmallows and when we were ready to go inside for the night that is when it decided to really take off.

Aubrey fell asleep on my lap around 10pm, which is WAY past the girls bedtime.  It was just nice!

Today we plan on going to my parents to swim in their pool because it is suppose to be really hot today, but the pool water is probably still really cold!  That's ok, I'll just sit and enjoy the sun!  Yesterday the water was only 68 degrees!!  COLD!
